First Floor
The
first floor is the main living area and has been designed on an
open plan basis, making good use of large windows to take
advantage of natural light and the fabulous views of the forests
and glaciers reaching up to the summit of Mont Blanc.
The
living room has two
large modern sofas, and is centred by a contemporary wood
burning stove, which adds great ambiance for those cosy winter
evenings. There is also a full entertainments system, including
hi-fi, DVD and satellite TV (for British channels), and there is
also free access to wireless broadband internet.
Also
in the open plan living area is large
locally crafted dining table to seat 8 and a fully equipped
stylish kitchen with granite work surface, includes fridge with
a freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, oven, hob,
toaster, fondu set and raclette.
The
first floor is also home to
a double bedroom with wardrobe and superb views of the Aiguille
du Midi from your pillow! Just next to the bedroom is a modern
bathroom with spa bath & shower, WC and washbasin.
Ground Floor
The front door opens into the entrance hall with a cloakroom,
stairs up to the main living area, as well as access to the
garage (which includes a washing machine) and a large double
bedroom. This spacious bedroom is also en-suite with a WC,
elegant wash basin, heated towel rail and a walk in shower.
Top Floor
The living room is overlooked by a balcony on the top floor.
This balcony leads to a large twin room with sofa (that also
converts to a bed), large chest of drawers and under-bed
drawers. The balcony also gives access to the mezzanine area
with twin beds and wardrobe.
Garden / Terrace
With breath-taking views of the Aiguille du Midi
and the forests and glaciers reaching up to Mont Blanc, the
garden also doubles as a great sledge run in winter. The large
wooden terrace, complete with garden furniture, is ideal for
dining al fresco in the summer. There are also sun lounges for
those who like to put their feet up, with a Sun umbrella and a
gas barbecue. Parking for two cars is directly outside the
chalet on tarmac driveway.
